Orange Leptoseris F2

Orange Leptoseris are fantastic encrusting corals.  Their striking fluorescent colours and patterns make them a highly desirable addition to a marine tank.

Orange Leptoseris are fast growing SPS corals. Given time, they will encrust over rocks and create eye catching focal points. These corals prefer to be in moderate light, although they are adaptable to a range of lightning conditions. However, intense light can still be damaging to Leptoseris. This means that, care should still be taken when placing them. Leptoseris like to be in slow moving currents, but water flow needs to be fast enough to prevent smothering.

Orange Leptoseris host photosynthetic algae, which they mostly rely on. These corals can be supplemented with small foods such as zooplankton or amino acids.
