The Fluval Aquasky 2.0 suitable for either fresh or saltwater fish tanks. Mainly for illumination although some customers have managed to grow some easy plants and some low light corals using them. If however you want a dedicated plant or corals tank you should choose a more powerful Fluval 3.0 Led. We have to be fair to the Aquasky for the price its fantastic. The Fluval Aquasky 2.0 without doubt much better than T8 or T5 of the same length. Do not however expect fantastic plant or coral growth. For entry level tropical tanks that include a few easy plants you can not fault them. To illuminate a marine tank with a few easy corals, again they will do the job and do it well. So to summarise: to replace a T8 or T5 light bar they’re great but they aren’t Radions.

Which The Aquasky to buy?
Simply choose the Fluval Aquasky 2.0 that’s nearest to your tanks length with the most LED’s over the tank, not the extended arms. The light has arms that extend from it on either side to adapt it to deferent sized tanks.
So for instance your tanks length is 100cm you could use either the 75-105cm, 83.5-106cm or the 91-122 cm. The biggest of which will be more light and less arm giving better overall lighting. If you retrofit the Fluval Aquasky into a light bar using the old tube mounts the tubes length would dictate your choice.
