As return pumps go this unit and all its siblings have surprised us to be honest. We did expect to have some issues with such an inexpensive rebranded Chinese pump. However we have sold a great many of these units and have no problem endorsing it. One thing worth pointing out: Despite the way the pump looks it can not be plumbed dry and must be ran submerged.
