H2Ocean Skimmer Guardian

The Skimmer Guardian is a great little gadget that uses a optical sensor with a magnetic mount to turn of any electrical operated piece of equipment, when the water level reaches the sensor. The magnetically coupled sensor makes it easy to install and adjust to the desired level on the collection cup. The skimmer guardian sensor is mounted externally so no holes are required in the collection cup for installation.

As it’s name suggests skimmer guardian is particularly popular as a safety shut off for protein skimmers. If the level in the cup reaches the sensor, the skimmer guardian will shut down the pump immediately to prevent your cup overflowing. A built in auto time delay also prevents false alarm due to power outages. Once the protein  skimmers cup is drained the guardian will restart the pump.
