It is however fiddly to maintain and also does little for the looks of this otherwise handsome set. We find most people instore upgrade to a better filter usually an external. This tank deserves an external filter, better at its job and can be tidily tucked away in the cabinet.

The heater nothing wrong here, good reliable heater. The light is good enough to illuminate the Aqua One OakStyle 85 and, has a nice colour so will be fine for fish and ornaments. If, however you are planning a planted aquarium you will need to upgrade.

It must be said that equipment aside the Aqua One OakStyle 85 Oak effect aquarium well-made and it is worth the money with no equipment. So, consider the equipment as enough to get you started and free. The filter does work it is just ugly and not so easy to clean and maintain. The light though basic is just as good as lights supplied with most other aquariums.
